Teaching
Sam Cartinhour, along with Herb Aldwinckle (Professor, Department of Plant Pathology in Geneva), is a faculty co-coordinator for PlPa 682, Graduate Research Updates, a 1-credit course required for all graduate students in the field of Plant Pathology. The course meets during the fall and spring semesters and provides a public forum in which students can present formal seminars describing their projects. Except for first-year students, all students are required to present their work once a year. The course is conducted using a fast video link between the Ithaca and Geneva campuses. Seminars are broadcast from both locations.
