Floating Backgrounds

To make your specimen appear to be floating on a background, place it on a clear sheet of glass and mount this above the background. Be careful to position the lights so there is no reflection off the glass into the camera lens and to evenly illuminate the specimen and background. The distance between the specimen and background can be varied for different effects.
