glorious little moldy things? Hate to burst your bubble, but this here orchid is a fungus symbiont.
It makes teeeeeeny tiny little seeds with barely enough juice to get started. Each seed must recruit a
fungus partner to make a go of it, and then the little plants live on fungal kindness until they start to
green up. Once good and green, they start to give back. Even in their full glory these orchids keep
their fungus partner, swapping it sugar for minerals.
