A spore and hyphae of Glomus etunicatum stained with DAPI to visualize nuclei and pseudocolored red. The image is a flat projection of a 3-dimensional stack of optical sections taken 200 nm apart using a Delta Vision imaging station and subjected to constrained iterative deconvolution.
