Searching the CUP Database

The CUP herbarium has about 400,000 fungus and plant disease specimens. Accession data for about 25,000 specimens can be searched online; we are continuing to add new records. Please contact us with requests for physical specimen searches.

Many specimens from our main collection and complete data from three of our special collections (CUP-CH, CUP-VZ, and CUP-BE) have been entered to date. Most of our 7,600 type specimens are included; for some we have entered only partial data. This site shall be updated as more specimens are added to the database.
